Servicing for Film Cameras?

Post by southernx » Thu, 30 Jan 2014 3:40 pm

Hi,
Just wondering if there are any shops that can service old 35mm film cameras. Has anyone got recommendations? I've got an ME Super I'd like to have serviced.
Thanks.

Great camera that, I cut my teeth on one, semi-auto but with many options to go manual. Gave you lots of opportunity to get a feel for all the factors contributing to the end result (depth of field, intentional slow exposures for action, over/under exp etc etc etc). In fact I should get my one serviced and back in action too!

If you want some workshops that are really recommended check the clubsnap forum but if I recall correctly the waiting queue could be long.

Digression: Maybe we should have a photo shooting gathering one day. I wonder how many people still play with analogue cameras. Last time I used my Bronicas was two years ago.
