Muesli

Post by l1ncs » Tue, 28 Jan 2014 3:58 pm

Is there anywhere I can buy muesli at a reasonable price, perhaps in bulk if necessary? I'm paying $9 for a small box in Giant which seems rather expensive.

I haven't found anywhere. Occasionally there will be specials and it's then worth stocking up.

I now make my own. I just buy rolled oats, add nuts, fruit and yoghurt. Can't eat the commercial stuff anymore, find it too sweet.

How many g was that in that $9 muesli that you bought?

There is one for the same price and that's 1kg!

I'm with BGD, make your own.

Or leave out the dried fruit, above, and add a chopped banana, and/or kiwi etc.

Big spoon of Greek yoghurt, + milk. Drizzle of honey for some subtle sweetening if you think it needs it...

Yum!
