hiya joojoo, u've finally decided to join us, great! this group is expanding.
checked in the paper, shows start at 6.45pm and then 9.30 pm. i'm cool with 6.45 pm. 9.30 is too late for me, unless they move to orchard road.
sabrina, can u make it? u know the movie will only start at 7 pm. so keep that in mind.

Wah lao = Oh my gosh!
switch off = idle, lazy
Lor = similar in usage to "Lah", but adds a slightly cynical or resigned tone to the sentence.
Cheem= intellectual

Yup...6.45 to 7 p.m...should be able to just make it.

So, now, we are a big group. This is gonna be fun...! Reminds me of my college days when a whole gang used to go and watch a movie and make so much of noise in the theatre......the fun we had commenting on all the actors and the clothes... ummm...let's bring those days back !!!!
