In fact, frankly speaking...if I was selected by both SIA and JAL (if i am so tat "heng")...I wld choose SIA
JAL comes as my second best choice..I am not saying tat JAL not gd, it's just my own preference
I am trying SIA almost every mth, guess I have become a regular personnel there
But will still try other airlines, whichever comes along..FOR the JAL final intervew, I assume it shld be a mgmt round (if i am not wrong)...maybe will notified those successful candidate via phonecall or email (like what they did yesterday)

dont worry with the scars part la, a few scars wont die! they are not as strict as SIA, hahahaha!! ... as long as you are not too jialat its ok already... hahaahh! not even has got nice complexion in there. tie ur hair, be neat most important. scar wise, buy a good concealor if u are really so worried. hahahaha~!
