Not sure if in October, but I guess chances are pretty high.
Hope the current UK problems get dissolved in a week or so otherwise with such large group we may get preventively arrested

Well, bears and gerbils... turns out I will be stuck in KL for an extra day... not back until very late Friday night. Drink one for me, and let's set up another one.

Bummer, but we probably be havin' another in Oct or Early Nov? In the meantime, we'll lift a handle for ya on Friday!

Update: I am writing from Ao Nang Thailand and won't be returning to SIN until the 25th. In other news, it looks as though we will be staying in Singapore a little longer, so I should be able to make it for the next one

That's good news on both counts! Being at the next one AND staying longer! But a shame you can't make this one. Defo next time!

Travelling overseas suddenly for an official meeting for 2 days. So I will be unable to meet you guys tomorrow and so I will meet you all in the next meeting.

Oops, the group is shrinking...

Looks like we haven't fixed time so far, 7-7:30pm?

7-8 sounds good to me. I'll probably get their around 7:15-7:30 if at all possible. I figured there would be some attrition but still if we get 7 or 8 will a be nice group. Who knows, a few others may well show up. Tentatively, 10 or 11 will still be larger than our one, of which, I think all had a pretty good time!

I haven't heard from Calmday, Saint, durain or intellectualsmuse (I think she's still in India), or revhappy. As the location is already there, who knows, there may just show up.

I like that strip, it is next to what was the Meridian. There is a thorough seafood stall down at the end. On the Orchard side there used to be a beer-auntie kiosk that seems to have gone away in recent years (she was something like $7 for a big un). Hope you have fun....
