If your phone is not CDMA type but is using GSM network, should not be a problem. Singapore used to have CDMA network.

The LG VX-6000 is CDMA, so it will not work in Singapore. Just dump it, new phones are not just dirt cheap but free here if you sign up a year's contract...

If you do decide to get one in the States, remember to unlock it, otherwise u wun be able to use it here.
