Hi all - I am a massive fan of these threads!

Wanted to run my case by you to group think what is going on here.

Changing jobs - applied for New EP on 3/11/2020.

On the 4th they asked to re-submit my passport details as image wasn't clear - did this within an hour of the ask.

On the 10th they reached out to my future employer (who is a small, recently incorporated in Singapore, but recognized name globally, investment firm) asking for information about place of business, bank statements and some invoices. The employer submitted all of these documents on the 12th.

Today is the 17th and we have heard nothing back from the MOM.

Some additional pieces of information:

I am Indian
Lived in SG for 2 years and have received EPs within 6 days on both occasions prior
14 years of work experience
Salary is $30K+/month
Degrees - MBA and Bachelors from Top 3 US University.
Field of work - Investment & Fund Management (Financial Services)
When I put my details on the MOM SAT - it passed

What do you think the hold up is? My sense is because the company is small - they are largely focused on that? Has anyone seen anything of the sort?
*APPROVED TODAY* I will now celebrate this *AMAZING* news! Good luck to all!
Congratulations! It's amazing indeed!

Hi,

I am changing jobs and I am in Singapore. My application was submitted on 11/11/2020. Still waiting for approval. Does the MOM website give accurate updates or should I ask my employer to check?

Hi

Ideally you should get it this week.

I have applied for a new EP (change of job in Singapore) on Nov 6th . Will update when this gets approved. But I guess it takes 7-10 working days.
Thanks, I got an approval today and it took 8 working days after renewal application.

My HR applied for EP and DPs renewal same time. My EP is approved in 7 days but both DPs are showing pending. Is it common? Bit worried. 😥
