Hi Everyone
Hope everyone is staying safe during this CB?
My name is Alphonse ,married to singaporean for nearly 3years,we got a Daughter 20months old .I’m a LTVP holder and I work here as well
So I was hoping to get some informations about my current situation .My wife and I have decided to go for separation not divorce.
Will this separation affect my LTVP and stay here in singapore?

In theory no, as long as she remains your sponsor as ltvp holders are sponsored by the spouse and not the employers. So also in theory, your existence here depends solely on her. If you lose your sponsor you lose your ltvp and without that you lose your LoC.

Sorry to hear that, but a lot of us have been there at one time or another.

Appeal S’pass

Post by tock_911 » Tue, 22 Sep 2020 2:40 pm

Hi ,
so I have a local wife and 2 years old daughter.Being living here for 3 years and married ,as well working for 2 years under the LOC
My wife decided to cancel my LTVP so I lost my Loc,since I was granted a EO for myself and daughter against her by the court.
My company did an appeal and as well I seek help form the MP who forwarded an appeal for my S’pass in regards to work and taking care of my daughter.
After 3 weeks of appeal, last week MOM asked for my personal bank statement ,company list of employees and company CPF.
I was told my my HR,we need to wait for Atleast 2 weeks again or so
Any advise on my situation or thoughts why they need my bank statement?
Warm Regards
