At the moment, based on what you have said, your chance is low when you are in S Pass. What do you work as? and what is your education? Salary?

I'm working as Senior Engineer in water treatment. Studied Environmental Engineer and salary about 65k/ann

Currently low, but you still have a decent chance when you upgrade to E Pass. Don't have high hopes.

But looks Environmental Engineering is gaining its value, since recent times. So keep your fingers crossed.

PR for my wife approved! We applied on 2 Aug 19 and got our IPA letter by post on 6 Nov 19! Though it was only 3 months, but it was nevertheless still a gruelling wait!

Our Profile:

Myself: SC
Wife: Indonesian Chinese on LTVP+ for 2 years (Holding LOC)
Married: 2 years
Kids: One 20 month old SC son
Job: Safety Executive
Industry: Public Transport (Govt-linked)
Income: 3300/mth (myself) and 2000 (wife)

Above my profile for reference. Hope you get your PR approval soon!

Cheers

Alot of times, salary and education is not that important. It seems like ICA favours those who have roots here, or plan to start a family here and will stay long term, thus higher priority.

This is definitely a large part of it. It's often why they also request a full family listing, e.g., parents, siblings, etc, etc.
