SC applying PR for wife

Post by buggy.88 » Tue, 29 Jan 2019 4:46 pm

My stats - SC male, 30, deg holder, pay is around 5-6k

Wife is from China, 27, deg holder, pay is around 3-4k and working on LOC.
We married in China about one year ago and she's on LTVP

Is it a good idea if I go for PR application for her now, or is it not the time yet?
I've heard some say you need to be married at least 1-2 years.

Thanks

2 years is good, having offspring always helpful as well as it then does not look like possibly an arranged marriage for immigration purposes. We are not saying that is the case, but ICA has seen a lot over the years so ICA tends to worry on the safe side. But yeah, if you try too soon they get suspicious even though they probably understand somebody wants to get in the BTO queue. ;-)
