I am a multilingual (Japanese, English, Malay, Mandarin, some French,German) masters degree holder(reputable Japanese university) in Engineering. I have 2 years work experience in Research and Development. After moving to Singapore, I worked for an MNC on contract at a measly 3400/month as an Operations Executive. How much do you think should I be getting?

3400 a month. You get exactly what you accepted. You could have said no, right? So you are being paid what you think you are worth, else you wouldn't have accepted the position.

You may want to use a site like https://salaryexpert.com/ before you apply for your next job.
