Dependant Pass LOC question

Post by rej8233 » Thu, 22 Nov 2018 8:51 pm

Hi,

I'm an E-Pass holder and currently working for an outsourcing company. My wife is a Dependant Pass holder and working w/a LOC. My company's client wants to absorb me soon as a permanent employee.

I would like to ask if my company's client absorbs me and applies passes for us, should my wife resign with her current job and reapply for a new LOC once our passes gets approved?

Thanks

She doesn't have to resign as her pass will automatically be canceled as her LOC is tied to your employment pass. if it changes, she has to have her employer apply for a new pass tied to your new employer. She cannot work as soon as your existing pass is canceled until the new LoC is issued (should only take 2 or 3 days max).
