UK Sky TV streaming - stream from UK ?

Post by jonny1984 » Wed, 24 Oct 2018 8:49 pm

Hi

Does anyone here know - Is there a way to stream Sky TV from UK out to Singapore ?

I still have a Sky subscription - and even when that runs out my parents said they could buy an extra box and have it plugged into their satellite dish at home ... but wondering if any way to stream that to a box in Singapore ?

I looked into a "Slingbox" - but some people said these don't work very well.

Anyone here doing this or have any thoughts on how it could be done?

Thanks
Jonny

You need a VPN. Unfortunately BBC and Sky etc are onto this and they routinely ban VPN IP's.

The best way might be to get your parents to point a phone at a TV in the UK and facetime it.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I thought SkyGo can watch on mobile device where ever you have an internet connection.

No idea if you can stream/cast that to a larger viewing device though.
