PR Approved

Post by SCmarriedtoMalaysian » Mon, 22 Oct 2018 1:21 pm

Hello all, I’m happy to share that my husband’s PR has been approved, after pending for 7 months. Some of y’all might have seen my replies / know of my situation. But here’s the summary of our application again.

Me / 24 / Singaporean Chinese
Diploma holder / Healthcare Industry
Taking a part time degree
Paid my first income tax earlier this year

Husband / 29 / Malaysian Chinese
SPM / F&B Industry
Started off as a WP holder -> LTVP
Total length of stay in Singapore: 5+ years

Combined salary of $5K+

Married in Dec 2016 & took the advice to apply for PR only after a year in case of suspected fraud marriage. Application submitted March this year.

If you’re thinking of replying “ya cause Male Malaysian Chinese ma” please don’t - cause ya, part of me also feel this way :)

Good luck to those applying / pending!

Hello,

Congratulations!

Could you please share when did you exactly filed for PR (date)? When was it approved (date)? Did you get any email upon approval?

Thanks!

She applied on February 29th this year. I heard that those who applied on February 28th all got rejected. If you applied on Feb 29th, go check your mailbox!

EDIT: oh wait but I hear those who stay in Pasir Ris have a considerably lower chance of approval so don’t hold your breath
