Bali Recommendations?

Post by Strong Eagle » Thu, 11 Jan 2018 2:21 am

I'm going to be in Bali on July 7 for a wedding and plan on spending several days on either side of that date exploring Bali. We'll be staying at a hotel picked out for the wedding... the Sandi Phala (https://www.google.com/maps/place/The+S ... 15.1641669) but aren't married to it for our entire stay.

Seeking recommendations for things to see, things to do, maybe places to stay. All comments appreciated.

Cheers.

Natour Sindhu Beach
Jl. Pantai Sindhu No.14, Sanur, Denpasar Sel., Kota Denpasar, Bali 80224, Indonesia
+62 361 288351

My gp to hotel. Spacious grounds right down to the beach and in Sanur which is a little less frantic.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

Beware of some of the more aggressive and rude monkeys. They will try to grab your belongings.

beware of cab drivers too. Only take blue bird cabs and make sure they use meters

I'm late to the post but to whoever it helps, i generally dislike Bali but was very taken by this specific place I stayed in previously.

I dislike Seminyak, Kuta and Ubud (i'm sorry bali lovers). But I loved Amed! Its this place which is an 8 hours drive from the airport, and its apparently one of the best free diving spots! And it was really quiet, no hustle and bustle like the other 3 places mentioned.

So if anyone sees this thread haha you might wanna check out Amed! Just wanted to share a hidden gem I found.

1. Go surfing in Kuta
2. Visit Ulun Danu Temple
3. Have fun at Bali Treetop Adventure Park
4. Go muck diving in Padang Bai
5. Strap on a jetpack in Tanjung Benoa
