Any Malaysian candidates from here are going for training on 28th sept? Did you all get any further informations about the procedure on 18th sept and your flight details flying to singapore?

Hi I recently attended the interview. I passed all the rounds but the final round I fail to meet the minimum height requirement of 158cm but I pass the reach test. They didn't measure my exact height before registration. I was measured 156.5cm, one day later at Japan airline interview I was measured 157.2cm and they let me pass. Anyone who is less than 158cm but allow to pass and go for medical check? If there is any hope that I can keep trying until one day SQ accept me for that tiny 0.5-1.5cm they deem significant.

If you can get your measurements early in the morning, you can be up to .75cm taller than you will be later in the afternoon. This is due to the cushioning in between your vertebrate in your backbone. At night those cushions replenish themselves with body fluids like a sponge pad. After carrying your weight around during the day, the cushions tend to compress much like memory foam so you actually shrink during the day and when you first get up the cushions without pressure expand giving you that little bit of extra height. (I became a helicopter pilot in the US Army in VN in 1966 for that very reason. I am a shorty. but just barely made the height with a morning physical.

Hi all,

I'm a new member to the forum and would like to find out if there's anyone in the same situation. Hope to exchange more information with each other.

I have attended the SIA interview in Malaysia on 25th Aug 2018 and my medical was done on 27th Aug 2018. Since then, I'm still waiting for updates, is there anyone experiencing the same or anyone can share me any info?

Appreciate your kindness ;)
