NS after getting PR

Hi Guys!

I have a question, is there anyone that recently got theirs PR and is under age 30?

I just got PR and i am under 30 and I got a letter for NS registration, so I have been asking around and googling if first generation PR need to server NS or not, and couldn't find a clear answer.

So anyone have been in my shoe before and have to server NS?

You need to register, it is unlikely that you would actually be called.

How you got your PR Joel?

Main applicants who are granted PR status under the Professionals/Technical Personnel and Skilled Workers Scheme or the Investor Scheme, are exempted from NS.

I got my PR because my wife is singaporean and my child is born in singapore too.

Not likely but let us know from Camp if we're wrong. I applied under the family scheme and I was about your age (30) and had no issues back in 1994.
