My application has been pending close to 8 months. I'm really getting nervous now. Just praying that it won't be a "slow rejection".

And oh yea. Malaysian Chinese female in her 30s here. Not sure if age plays a factor in approval chances. =(

Yep, as long as you're of an age that is able to produce cannon fodder for NS they'll give you a shot at it, in all probability. Perfect age to start producing little ones....

....once you have been here at least 2 years or have 3 NOA from IRAS. Sometimes, even if your loins are ripe, the fact that you cannot follow simple instructions can ruin the best of chances, baby oven or not. Afterall, they don't need babies who inherit bad traits. They've got enough of that kind here already.

honeycarey, just out of curiosity, how long were you here before you applied for PR?

Not bad! I'm an old dairy farmer, normally I'd say you must come from good breeding stock! LOL Just kidding. It's Saturday morning and I had to be in the office all morning, so just havin' a poke! ;-)

Congratualations.

Haha good breeding stock LOL. nah I don't think that's the case. Probably because I did my internship here back in 2005 and they saw me as serious in coming back here to work.

I have to work today too but at like 3pm. Have a wonderful Saturday nonetheless! :)

Applied on 20 Sep. In principal letter stated 29 June, while the online system only showed “approved” on 3 July!
I am 31.
Malaysian Chinese female.
Worked here since April 2016.
Applied on 20 Sep 2017. (1 NOA because 1 years 5 months only)
Waited 9.5 months for approval.

I guess we would never know how long one has to wait/ approval rate?

The formality appointment was the easiest and hassle free process tho!

Good luck everyone! Just keep waiting!

Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement, ladies. =)

I don't have 3 NOAs from IRAS, though. I moved here only in Aug 2016. =/ I am aware that my duration of stay could be a disadvantage, but for what it's worth, in my short time here, my pay has increased by nearly 30% (granted, I started out at a really low-paying job) and I've been promoted into a managerial position. I really do hope that ICA will take these things into consideration because as corny as this sounds, Singapore has already become...home and I want nothing more than to stay here permanently. =(
