ANZAC Day is today. Lest We Forget.

Sometimes it's hard to explain to non Australians why ANZAC means so much to Australia and New Zealanders. The French PM does it justice.... "Mr Philippe paid tribute to the Australian soldiers who defended the French land they held inch-by-inch, "as if it were their own country"."

My great Uncle Henry fought in the trenches of France for the AIF. He never told anyone. He said he was only in Egypy. Two years ago I looked up his records. Not only did he fight in the trenches but was also wounded.
