Anyone else thinking of deleting their Facebook IG and or other SM profiles?

Post by PNGMK » Thu, 22 Mar 2018 3:33 pm

FB have me spooked. I've been off it since Feb for Lent anyways. Fortunately I've always used a false name on it and we appreciate seeing friends posts etc from overseas. However it's turned into a surveillance tool as we all suspected it was at the start.

I've previously run a script and stripped off most my posts and left mainly pics up.

The world needs a surveillance free alternative.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I stopped using Facebook years before coming to Singapore because of this.

I still have a dead account floating around somewhere, but it has almost no content on it and was created in a different country.
