Process for my FIancee

Post by Chaorenz » Mon, 20 Nov 2017 12:04 am

Hi , i'm a SC and would be marrying my Fiancee next week who is a Foreigner .

I would like to know the process or steps for her to stay up to 90 days while waiting for the LTVP to be approve.

1)She arrived on 19 Nov with me .
2)So she will be required to fly back on 18 Dec in order to meet the 3o days .
3) We will be getting marry on 26 Nov .
4) In order for her to stay up to 90 days i need to apply SHORT TERM VISIT PASS Extend while waiting for her LTVP ? ? <-- i'm not very sure about this step .
5)She had already gotten Pre assessment LTVP Eligibility for 1 year .

Please help as i'm abit confuse with the process on this part .
Thank you for taking up your time .

You don't have a problem.

Immediately after getting married, submit your LTVP application. Quite likely the LTVP will be issued quickly because of your pre marriage assessment (which I'd dare say will be about 2 weeks, though the website says upto 6 weeks). In any case, regardless of how long the LTVP application takes, you'll be allowed to extend the STVP for as long as the LTVP application is pending.

Hi Gold.spot , thank you for your quick reply .

Yes im planning to submit her LTVP application when i get Rom on 26.
And i would extend her STVP for 89 days .

For her STVP 89 days i can submit under family ties ? Cause by right she will be my spouse once i ROM .

I was told by my friends to submit LTVP and Pr application together .

Which would be better ? After she got her LTVP?

Anyway abit of our background .

She from Philippines and she finish her high school back there. Never work in Singapore before and only travel with me to SG. She currently unemployed.

Im a SC working as a Regular in the SAF .
12 years in service monthly gross about 4.8 .

My chances of Ltvp will be high?
How about Pr ? Cause i have friends apply for a few time and got rejected.

Thank you for your reply and time.
Cheers.

Hi

I believe PR have low chance. The earliest to apply PR to have a good chance is after she gave birth (10 months from now?) and have a job too.

Good luck on the application and congrats on wedding!

LTVP should not be an issue after PMLE

PR will not be so easy. My wife's PR application is pending too!

LTVP can take from 2 weeks to 3 months.

In the meantime, ICA MAY extend the SVP, or applicant has to return to the country of origin and come back.

ICA may extend SVP for maximum of 120 days only.
