LG TV - Made in CHina

Post by cheerlin73 » Thu, 17 Aug 2017 12:55 pm

dear all,

need anyone advise.
Just moved back from China after few years, we had brought along a LG SmartTV which we bought there . China govt had deactivated WebOS 3.0 for all LG TVs according to LG Sales becos of blah blah blah reasons ( any that you could think of!) but since we are back in Singapore, is there anyway to "activate" the WebOS function? or any workaround? LG Sg told us sorry u check with LG China.

thanks.

I can't tell you how to enable Web OS but I can tell you that your TV is not compatible with over the air TV signals in Singapore. Singapore is DVB-T while China is DTMB.
