Survey - Subsidized Housing

Post by pandalover12 » Tue, 01 Aug 2017 8:32 pm

Hi, everyone! I am doing a research on government interventions by comparing subsidized housing systems in Singapore and Kazakhstan. I would greatly appreciate if you can respond to this survey about HDB flats: https://goo.gl/forms/KxncMYOoZlFngagD2 It has 17 multiple choice questions and it only takes 2-3 minutes to complete it. Thank you very much!

Guy guys... you gotta see how bad this survey is designed. It's like something out the soviet era - completely inflexible!
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

It is a bit of a laugh... buttons for every possible age range, plus "other"?

You can "buy", "rent", or "other"... what's that... living as a squatter?

Otherwise... very strange... do you have electricity? Water? Sewer? Transportation?

The buttons don't include age 25, so "other" is necessary.

Ahhh... right you are... that difficult age between 25.00 and 25.999999. I should have read more carefully!

So pandalover12, I know I and others are being a bit hard on you... and there is a lesson here... the results of a survey are only as reliable as the questions you ask.

My sense is that your survey is biased... you are looking for material about Singapore to compare it to conditions in Kazakhstan. For example, your question about access to facilities is relatively meaningless in Singapore... everybody has access to those facilities... it is a well developed country.

Petervich Ivanovich, slaughterer of the hapless Kazakhs enjoyed explaining how he prefers HDB to Soviet Era buildings as he can throw his victims from the HDB parapets and doesn't have to break windows in the Kazakh Apartment he lives in with his Babushka.
