V Hotel Bencoolen / MRT works

Post by Mi Amigo » Tue, 25 Apr 2017 6:54 am

Hello folks, long time since I was last here and I hope everyone is keeping well.

I'll be making a short visit to Singapore in October (first time back since I left at the end of 2013) and I'm currently looking at hotels. Once that is of potential interest is the V Hotel in Bencoolen Street, but I'm wondering what the state of play is with the road works for the new MRT station that were ongoing there when I left. Does anyone know whether they will be finished by October?

On a more general note, if anyone can suggest a reasonably priced hotel that's fairly central, near to an MRT and has rooms with windows, that would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The YMCA is always a good bet (upper Orchard Rd). Bencoolen is now open to traffic so the end must be near for the works.

You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
