Doctor/Hospital recommendation for (sports) injury

Post by poorbunnyi88 » Fri, 10 Feb 2017 4:00 pm

Anyone ever been to the OrthoSports or Singapore Sports Medicine Centre in Novena? The OrthoSports one i think it's owned by Mount Elizabeth. I have minor injury on my shoulder and knee which still exist after months. not sure about the cause but i think it's due to my gym activity and my lifestyle makes it worse.

Would this Sports specialty medical centres would be better for muscle or neural injuries even ones not related with sports outside other unspecialized hospitals?

i'm also not sure whether to see an orthopaedic or neurologist.

Recommendation please

TIA

Hi doctorxdentist,

do you have any recommendation for the specialist in Singapore Sports Centre Novena? Also I initially thought that the cost of treatments in Ortho Sports and Singapore Sports Centre is cheaper than private hospitals ie. Mount E , Gleneagles etc. i regard them as specialist clinics before, is this not the case?

I broke my rib playing soccer, 18 Feb 2017.
Where can I find a lightweight rib protector suitable to wear whilst playing soccer?
