Masters´s degree mandatory?

Post by chris771 » Mon, 20 Feb 2017 7:17 am

Hey this is my first post.
I am a young graduate from Germany and my big dream is to work in Singapore.
I have a bachelor's degree in information security (is) and want to work as an is-auditor or is-riskmanager.

I´d like to know if a bachelor´s degree is sufficient or a masters´s degree is mandatory to get a good job in Singapore?

Thanks a lot :)

For foreigners, companies will mostly look for experience first, then qualifications. You have not mentioned any work experience so that will make your job hunting harder. There is also the issue of employment pass approvals which is less likely for those without the requisite experience. That said, it is not impossible for a foreigner who is a bachelor's degree graduate without any job experience to get a job in Singapore but it is going to be very hard.
