Have a look at Dunlop st in Little India. It's crawling with back packers and similar style hotels / hostels.

Hello Rakeshj,
Although Singapore is full of tourists all through the year but the best time to visit the city is between the festive months of July to September and February to April.
I found out these hidden places when I had been to Singapore
- Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
- Japanese Cemetery Park
- Haw Par Villa
Hope the below links will guide you

The only one of those that is somewhat 'hidden' is the Japanese Cemetery.

If you like nature and have some time to spare, go cycling in Pulau Ubin.
