Yes buddy, atleast it is in pipeline and things will surely be positive.
Its been 5 months, I was thinking the 4 month is the longest waiting time as per this forum and other forums.
So how you consultancy is contacting MOM, via phone or email and did MOM give any update to them.

Our Indian outsource vendors are flatly telling us they can't get EPs to bring anyone onsite until the end of January. Doesn't matter who, why, what skills etc.
@OP - When I hire internally, I have to justify why I didn't hire a local candidate. My explanation is usually pretty simple: None applied!
I think I've seen 1 SC apply in the 3 years I've been here. I've had the occasional PR apply but they have been few and far between.

No idea. I was very surprised when our vendors told us they couldn't get EPs.
We have more scrutiny from HR, but I haven't heard of any EPs being refused for my MNC.
I would hazard a guess the large indian outtsourcers face more issues keeping their ratios in line as they really arent interested in employing locals.

Brian: I understand and thanks for the useful information, but at the same time, have you seen any EP rejected after waiting for 3-4 months?
I hope things should get better soon

don't hold your breath.
Indian outsourcing companies are being severely throttled, and it's no secret why.
There's no quota per year but, again, it is public knowledge that passes are being curtailed.
