BBCW - the older hands here are aware that MY immigration officals have used the pretext of 'no stamp' as an inducement for bribes. Perhaps no one wanted to say it. Any smart FT going into MY makes sure their passport is stamped. In fact I seem to recall some notices on the MY passport officals glass windows stating that you should ensure you have a stamnp.
