How much will you pay me ? For time and travel ? Image

Seriously, look up http://www.acra.gov.sg to check registration status of companies registered in Singapore!

By the way, what's the company name ?

This is the company Street Directory says is there.

http://./business ... nchid=6055

But this one is also listed at the same suite number.

Then again, this business is also listed at the suite, and I'd probably be inclined to believe this one.

Yet another:

More:

Or:

http://www.globalinvacom.com/investor-r ... s/advisers

https://www.sgpbusiness.com/company/Glo ... ce-Pte-Ltd

Conclusion: This is a serviced office, most likely run by Zico Corporate Services Pte Ltd.

Oh, I should have mentioned that it shows they exist and are live and that's the registered address. I just want to physically find them. Are they there, is it just a company registration address? Do they have office space there? That's what i'm after...

It's a f*cking serviced office. They rent a space... or... they rent an address. Either way, it's their registered address. They could have an office, they could have nothing but a mail pickup, rights to a conference room, and a service office secretary answering their phone. You would never know if you simply walked into suite #03-00. And if you asked the secretary on duty, she'd tell you that they have an office and they are out right now. That's the whole point of a serviced office.

I've had both. An office and a presence. I've had a serviced office in Bangkok where the secretaries would put my family photos on a desk shared by 30 others whenever Thai authorities came by to see my office.

And if you're not going to cough up the company name, the whole thing is pointless. What difference does it make if they have office space there? It's their registered address. It's where you can serve them with legal papers. So what if they have a closet sized office next to the loo? Or a suite of 18 rooms? Or only a programmed answering service and mail pickup? What difference does it make?

Wonderful, thanks for your message 'Strong'.

I'm not after serving on the company, just one of the Directors, so I thought I'd find someone that would look and see if there were people from the company there or just a po box type thing before asking someone to go look for the company. I didn't think posting the company name on a public page was the wisest move.

Oh !!!!

If you "serve", the appointed pretend receptionist will accept it ! Consider the client "served".

If, they haven't vacated or moved out or ... done a runner.

ACRA site will show if the company is still in existence.

I think you'll need to hire a trusted person or agent if you want a site inspection and/or nose count. The free answer is that it's a serviced ("virtual") office location.

I see. You're not trying to serve the company, but a director, individually, and you are trying to find her at work?

Maybe yes, maybe no. If you were serving the company, then serving notice at its registered office will suffice, as the secretary and directors are considered served when delivered to the registered address.

But if you are suing a director, individually, for matters not related to the company, the service must be in person, as it would be for any other person. In this case, you might be vetted by the serviced office secretary ( had standing instructions with mine to never say I was in or out without first checking) and might never get the opportunity to meet the director.
