Want to meet new people? Try Dragon boating

The Gaelic Dragons are having a "Newbie Day" this Saturday at 12pm.

The day welcomes those who want to try paddling for the very first time, those who want to get a bit more serious, people looking to take up sport or those that just want to meet new people. Bring your friends, colleagues, partners, pets - everyone is welcome. It's a great way to meet new people, have fun, and get fit whilst doing so!

The afternoon will kick off at 12:00pm at Kallang Riverside Park (5 Stadium Road) where you'll be introduced to the team and given a quick briefing, before we head out onto the water for what promises to be a super fun (but also challenging!) paddle session!

Once everyone is exhausted we will head back to the beach for well-earned pizza and beer. Stick around for games and Gaelic antics - believe me, you don't want to miss out on those!

What to bring:
Water, sunscreen, hat, sunnies, flip flops/shoes and gym/workout clothes. Be prepared to get wet!

Cost:
$30 per person
** all equipment, food and drinks (beer) are included in the cost

I have done dragon boating in the USA. Once. It is really fun. Thumbs up. An all-around healthy activity.
