Sorry. But I'm in a bit of a panic. I am flying tomorrow morning and have no interviews lined up.

You can try the Australian Club or ANZA of Singapore branch.

Thanks for that. Where will I find the Australia Club? Is it in the middle of the city?

I'm sorry but I have to say this.

Are you really a journalist? Did you even research what you're supposed to write about?

It's the first result when you do a Google search!

I'm quickly discovering that Australian expats in Singapore are incredibly rude.

Yes Lacebug. I'm an Australian. What do you want to know?
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I want to meet up for a drink with an Aussie in Singapore and interview them for about ten minutes about their experience with doing business in Singapore. It has been named the best city in the world for business. I want to know why.

PNGMK, I'd worry about that invitation if I were you. I'd worry about anybody with a name like Stephen (nothing wrong there), but with a nick of "lacebug" which really sounds kinky to me.

No need to worry. Username is lacebug because last name is lacey. I'll be with my 9 year old son. He's keeping an eye on me to make sure i don't frequent certain 'establishments'.

I was told the Fort canning carpark is a great place for the business community to meet late at night.

Don't write off those 'establishments', some will be a good source of Aussies. That's actually a serious comment. Of course they may not be so keen on being interviewed.
