Age? What is considered as young age but mature enough to stay for long term?

Age may be to taken to account as they consider the candidate for her/his potential contribution to the society and economy. If one is too old this contribution will be shorter term and also assimilation may not be so good. As some sort of extreme example, I think it is practically not possible (based on the race and medium level salary criteria alone) to get a PR if you are single and older than 50y. I think it would be already very difficult if this person is 40yo.

Unlike Australia and such countries, age doesn't play a large part, and that is unofficially known.

And officially, nothing is known.

As Sundaymorningstaple says, you buy your ticket, you take your chances.

Fretting over the success or failure rate or chance of failure won't do anything good. !!

Only thing I believe they are looking for is, what you could do for this country, and the thing that you do is really matter to this country. Then age comes to the table. Single or married would barely affect their decision.

Age play very little role in the application, in my humble opinion.

I was 44 years old when PR got approved and 49 years old when SC got approved....wasn't owning any properties in Singapore at time of both applications too.

Guess somehow I ticked all the correct boxes in the invisible checklist.....

How long ago was that? My sense is that 10 years ago it didn't matter so much... now Singapore is much more interested in a younger demographic.

SE, he was on a rapid mover somehow. He started working here in July 2008 and got PR 1yr 4 months in according to his history on the board from 2009.

Hi can anyone enlighten me with regards to the PR application submission process...? Does the officer ask for documents in strictly this order below? (taken from explanatory notes)

Or should I lump my husband's and child's birth certs together with mine when they ask for "birth cert" or submit my husband's and my educational certs together when they ask for it? Or will they ask for my documents first and then ask for spouse's and child documents like birth cert, educational cert and all that? sorry I'm trying to arrange my documents and its messy now, I dont want to scour for my documents on the day of submission.

(b) Identity card (if applicable);
(c)Employment Pass or S Pass;
(d)Educational certificates
(e)Official marriage certificate
(f)Birth certificate
(g)Testimonials from previous employer stating the
nature and duration of employment and also the
last drawn basic salary
(h)Payslips for the last 6 months;
(i)Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the last 3 years.
(j)Valid Business Registration Certificate
(k)Spouse’s educational certificates, birth certificate and identity card,
(l)Official birth certificates of children showing both parents’ names and the child’s name
and adoption
