Tried many years back and it was dinner. Pricey and tasted so so.

Rider cafe is a good choice. Sgd20-30 for a course but quite big serve and tastes good. Nice environment. However, it's always packed on weekends.

My new found is Alkaff Mansion at Telok Blangah Hill. Decent serving (cheese salmon thin crust pizza), reasonable price, quiet, greenery place. Many went there after jogging nearby.

Another of my recommendation is The Coastal Settlement which located at a secluded corner of Changi Area. Nice cosy place. But again, Q is long as they don't take reservation.

Brunch has gotten better here over the years, but it's still way too expensive and the quality and/or correctness is not always there. The ABCs and PSs are ok but who wants to spend >$30 for a simple breakfast?

Plus the breakfasts I get at home are always better.

It's stupid. So is the upscale-ness of a lot of places. Much more simple would do, in the States you can get any combination of eggs, toast (done properly), bacon, waffles, pancakes, and bottomless coffee for <$10 - the way it should be.

Having said that, I do know most of the good places as I can't get away with brunch at home both days of the weekend.

Any recommendation for places that have champagne brunch? Most seems to be in the $180++ range
