I don't think the banks have to try hard- they can fast forward and secure such orders ... pretty quickly

Well.... I've been in such a pickle in my younger years and have been able to get in and out. The key is whether the debt was sold off or actually subject to court action (and for this the trigger is probably the amount - maybe $100,000 upwards?).
