My daughter was born in India and my son in Singapore. Six yrs and three years kids .. we applied PR it got rejected in six months tht is ,we applied on jan 23 and rejected result we saw on 6 th July..... we don't why it was rejected. Next year my daughter is going to primary one no idea where and which place she will because no pr ????..
My husband is working here for past 10 yrs.
We both parents are PR.
And living in own house
Salary as mentioned and
We have started our own company its was just two months in which even I am working .
But still no pr don't know what to do and how to proceed.

Consider student pass if you would like your child to start primary school in Singapore without PR. The only disadvantage is that as foreign student, the school fees are higher. Maybe it is the combined salary (you didn't mention here actually) or your nationality (Indians are no longer the popular PR applicants in the eyes of ICA). Good luck.

I am not surprised at all. This happened to two of my other Indian friends too.

One of them could afford private school and the other couldn't. Eventually they are moving out of Singapore.

To me, it shows that you guys got PR when things were easy. In the current climate, you may not have gotten PR. The government is just making this point to you by denying PR to the kids, that although you have PR, you are not a part of the their long term plan.

It is a hint which you may take or ignore.

For your status, your children will be balloted to least popular schools, which would most likely be schools that are in far-flung neighbourhoods (like Bukit Panjang, Punggol, etc), depending if you already live there or not. You simply have no options about the school. Sorry about that.

Sadly, Midlet2013, you have hit it squarely on the nose. This gambit as well as the refusing the trailing spouse PR or even an LTVP+ are ways of either breaking up a family, or, mores the case, creating enough stress & strife in the family unit to force a repatriation to the home country in order to thin down the ranks. Additionally, you may well have a valid point regarding the previously laxity in investigation for giving out PR during the rapid expansion days and the possibility of this being a reason for gutting a family as well.

Before someone says "That's not fair," well, life isn't fair.
