How do i switch themes? I seem to have lost that option and it switched to the "other" theme which I hated.

There is only one theme now. Which is also mobile friendly.

LOL I'm also a fan of the other theme. Bummer, it is gone now. Oh well, this one isn't hard to get used to actually. Need some time.

well i found on the previous versions (2 versions before) the size of the avatars were limited to a very small size so animated gifs couldn't be used.

I've been using the diver for years now. Also had a fisherman in waders and an old man in a rockin' chair - all animated, all along. Granted I had to surgically remove one or two frames out of some of the .gif's in order to meet the data size limitations. That's why the shark isn't swimming as smooth as it was when I found it.

This is not a welcome change.

In FF now 1/3 of the right-hand side of the screen is wasted space, and the left hand side is so compressed that that height of the threads is like an inch tall, the text wraps too much.

Sorry to say but it sucks. It was fine a couple days back.

I have to agree with Brah on the column widths. the message column is compressed way too tight and doesn't open up until the browser window is opened up to the full width of a 19" monitor, and there is way too much open real estate on the right hand side of the dating column that could be used for the forum itself.

The main thread window does not expand/contract smoothly, it is like only two or three sizes and when you finally stretch it far enough it jumps another size instead of smoothly expanding. Can you set the frames to maintain a fixed percentage of the browser frame?

That's where all the ads are (at least in the top half of the window).

This layout is not nice at all. Can you revert to the one you had yesterday?

Sorry guys, was doing some testing of the width.

In the past we have fixed width of 1280px. Which means we used to have about 960px of screen space and the 300px on the right for banner ads and wasted space below it.

I had just did some tweaking:

Initial width: 1280px (Left 958px / Right 300px)

Once screen size goes below 1200px, width will change to 1024px (Left 702px / Right 300px)

Once screen size goes below 1000px, width will change to 900px (Left 578px / Right 300px)

Once screen size goes below 800px, width will become 100% and banner ads go below the contents.

As much as I love to, I can't dump all the banner ads at the bottom of the page once resolution hits below 1200px. That's why we need to have few step downs before all ads go to the bottom of the page.

Most of the desktop users should have screen resolution higher than 1200px right?

By the way, we have not finalized the size.

Can you put the avatars back on the left side? We're using right-to-left languages, why put that stuff on the wrong side?
