Long time (since the Dire Straits times) have not heard anything like this.

That has a real old-time feel to it... nice, (and I've never been a fan of theirs).

Bought the track this morning because it's worth it.

The chat from another topic is more relevant here, so I'm flipping it here:

You set a list of your specific Favs, or Fav genres, your ability to travel (distance), and it then alerts you whenever those bands are planning to tour within your sphere of mobility, interest and budget. For example there are several bands I'd happily travel pretty much anywhere in Asia to get to see, and a smaller list I'd travel further, even much further for.
There is. Are one that certainly ticks most of the boxes. Check out http://www.bandsintown.com
I was looking at that site and saw that Fatboy Slim is playing here, next week, and I had no idea!? That is precisely the kind of thing I'd like to avoid, so I am very impressed with the www so far.

He's playing at the Future Music Festival - Asia, out at Changi. It's a touring regional festival so I was curious to get more info. So I checked their www, and was immediately distracted by their billing of The Prodigy. A genuine OMG!? moment.

The latter would have come off tour two nights earlier in Sydney. And then a month hence they resume it in Europe. So that got me thinking. I know big bands are surprisingly mobile these days, but the FMFA site doesn't even list what day they're playing. Per the Bandsintown site, they're not listed as playing SG [http://www.bandsintown.com/TheProdigy?came_from=203]. So I checked the bands own site, and the SG dates aren't listed there either, despite the band listing dates out through end Aug. Hmmm, curious, as they are a very well oiled machine. So I IM'd the festival promoter, as I'm extremely cautious re: festivals who advertise an eye-catching line-up, even when some of the headliners are not and were never booked.

------------------------------------
Me: The website suggests The Prodigy are playing, but the bands website doesn't mention it? Can you clarify that please?
http://www.futuremusicfestival.asia/201 ... e-prodigy/
http://www.theprodigy.com/live/?type=2015

FMFA Support: Hi there, not to worry, we have confirmed that The Prodigy will be playing. Whereby the band's website is operating under The Prodigy's own management.

And can you tell me when they are playing? Your website doesn't seem to have a simple list of the events overall schedule.

As for now, you may visit checkour the latest performance lineup from our official facebook page via https://www.facebook.com/futuremusicasi ... =1&theater

Whereby for the set times for all the performances, they are not available. You would need to keep an eye on our official website via http://www.futuremusicfestival.asia/2015/

Ah, thanks for that. This site here [the FMFA one] doesn't even seem to tell you what day they're playing, which is confusing. Per FB: So they're playing on the 13th; and they are confirmed and booked for that? I ask as the Prodigy site lists their tour dates through end August, and this event here in SG is absent.

Yes they are confirmed and booked please do not worry. See you on the 13th :)

I’ll book it (if I still can by then), when I see the band confirm the date. Thanks for your help.

Every performance act that we published has been confirmed. The performance schedule will be announced this week. Stay tuned for it! :)

Is there anything else that I can help you with?

Nope, that's it for now. Thx for your help. I'll be keeping an eye on both your and their www to see how events come together!'

Such beautiful harmony, in their typical way, varying the vocals within each verse, each verse swelling as it progresses.
A wonderfully haunting version.
Great lyrics, written when Dylan was still so very young.

Here again, Peter, Paul and Mary with a deceptively upbeat "If I Had a Hammer," a song we learned in our youth:

Strange, why didn't the organisers make sure that they have the permit FIRST before they sell tickets?
