What are you doing on X'mas eve?

Post by choya » Fri, 19 Dec 2014 11:49 pm

So what would you be doing and where would you be going?

I have been hosting X'mas eve parties for a couple of years, fun but tiring & stressful for me. Therefore this year, I decided not to host any parties and skip all the familiar faces & routines for a change.

However as the date is drawing near, I realised that I have no plan or clue on what to do at all. Stuffing myself with snacks in front of the tv seems pathetic. Any suggestions?

FYI, I haven't got a clue on what to do yet though. The illegal plan I thought of is still in the clouds...

I agree. But.....

If they are not Christians, then it's just another gazetted holiday for one of the other religions for them and doesn't have the same significance as it does for Christians. After all, it did start out as a pagan holiday on the winter solstice. ;-)

Just feelin' ornery this morning cause I gotta work and don't want to!

Making smoked ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches, kale chips and having some craft beer.
Probably put some free movies (thanks, Google Play) on the Chromecast.
Video hangouts with the people at home.
Update my Android app.
Relaunch my webcomic.
Earthbend.

LOL @ the illegal plan! I don't think it would be that easy thou.
I guess I will either make a nice dinner and chill out at home or attend a small gathering at my friend's place.

You do realize you're admitting to do something illegal on a public forum where anyone with basic internet skills can easily deduced what your real identity is, right?

I do, but if I never post it (the act of doing the thing), or never got caught, there's no telling whether I did or did not do it, right? Therefore, no prosecution is possible. Am I right?

ok...last attempt to spend the last few hours of my x'mas eve more fun and interesting....been working all day...wanted to get a small roasted chicken to celebrate by myself with a glass (bottle ) of red...but ALL SOLD OUT!!! went to two supermarkets, and the queue for the roasts was just soooo ridiculously long...

anyway, just wonder if any of you know where i can go for some live music at this time of the year? perhaps somewhere less crowded so that easier for me to get a cab?
