Hi,
I need some information on importing goods from overseas, say from china or india. How do we verify that the company really exist, and whether they are of good reputation?

thanks for your time...

Depends on size of business ect, Most are registered, and have a taxation code.

You can normally do some research at your local trade office, also find out all you can about them, their bank registration, business registration numbers, or even get someone local to check them out for you.

Never purchase large quantity, without doing a quality control check. and have samples sent.
All business is risk, but genuine relationships are based on trust, if your thinking of repeat business, it pays to go and check them out, first.
