Have anyone had a darjeeling maid?

Post by dxb625 » Wed, 03 Dec 2014 10:56 am

Hi,

My family and I are looking for a maid and are looking for reviews on maids from different countries. I know it also depends on luck as not all maids are typical stereotypes but with two very young kids, we want to make sure we hire a more reliable person who will not 'run away' and leave the kids at home while we are at work.

Have anyone employed an nepalese or darjeeling maid and can share their experiences? Thanks.

I don't think the nationality or race of the FDW has a lot of bearing on those risk factors; more to do with her individual morals and personality.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I too think he is mixing up Nepal with Darjeeling ..

Nepali maids were allowed at one time, not sure if they are allowed, though exceptional cases are always taken into consideration by MOM !
