Back home drivers license

Post by The Ref » Sun, 16 Nov 2014 8:55 pm

I have just seen that my Australian drivers license has expired around 6 months ago.
What is the general consensus on keeping the validity of the DL from home?

I have been here about 5 years and I have no plan to move back permanently and plan to stay in Singapore for as long as my employer see fit to keep me around.

Thanks :)

I kept my license current in the USA mainly because the extra insurance coverage from my credit cards for car rentals required a US license.

Can't you just swap your Singapore License back for an Aussie license if you go back?
