Robin Williams dead of apparent suicide

Post by PNGMK » Tue, 12 Aug 2014 7:40 am

Being reported on most news sites now.

I watched his latest TV Series (The Crazy Ones) on a flight the other day - his eyes were dead and he was checked out. I wondered what demons made him do it.

Good night funny man.

He's been suffering from depression. I guess there was a straw that broke a camel's back.

Why do all the amazing people leave so soon? And leave the horrible ones behind for far too long? /rhetoric rant/

Maybe the amazingly funny and frantic comedian he was is an indication of his mental fragility?

Even before I saw the news this morning I put the Disney movie Aladdin on for my daughter and his voice as the Genie always gets me laughing.

He will be sadly missed.

Many of histories best remembered comedians suffered from clinical depression. It seems the two can go hand in hand.

I used to enjoy Mork and Mindy, that was pretty way-out when it arrived on the scene.

RIP.

Only the good die young. It's the nature of this world and the dark prince.

From that great old Prophet Isaiah:

1 The righteous pass away; the godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. 2 For the godly who die will rest in peace.

It was said about Tony Hancock many years ago, after 'the Blood Donor' sketch that he went into a depressed state, straight after coming out the studio. When asked why he was in such a state, because the sketch had gone so well, and was the best he ever did, he came back saying simply, "How do I top that?"

Another sad day.

That's something Robin Williams would say to lighten the mood.

Filipinos are like Indians...if something's got something (good) to do with the Philippines/India, you won't stop hearing about it.

Anyway, his ex-wife was Finn-Filipino, or according to Robin, "Finnipino."

As much as I liked the guy, I just wish people would just shut up talking about him on all forms of media, I think he has a hidden message for many people via his death, he was just showing them the ropes.
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

That's still something Robin Williams would totally do/say.

"Death is nature's way of telling you 'your table is ready.'" -Robin Williams
