Edward Snowden - Interview

Post by JR8 » Sun, 20 Jul 2014 12:12 pm

'Edward Snowden interview - the edited transcript
The whistleblower speaks to [2 senior UK journalists] about life in Russia,
the NSA culture, his time there and the future of communication.'

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/j ... transcript

A hugely long piece, but, just wow, one of the most articulate, revealing, thought provoking interviews I have read in many years. Really, if you have the time (maybe a couple of hours!?) and inclination, this will likely leave you pondering the nature and meaning of 'modern democracy'.

The recent tv interview was very compelling.

Thanks, I'll take the time to read this. When he is pardoned by the next, or the next after that president, he may well be viewed as enough of a hero to actually run himself.

The guy is that impressive.
