That's scary. Esp if you remove the reclamation on Singapore, they are even more alike!

Cool stuff. I just used it to compare Singapore to Penang (because my friend kept disagreeing with me that Penang is smaller than Singapore in size.

Wolframalpha is a seriously power computational engine. Completely different to google. It solves math, chem, physics problems etc. I would not have go through my masters wiithout it (particularly in the chem section).

That was interesting, but the URL broke for me, here it is bare ...
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=Is ... 0Singapore

I'd considered the land reclamation on the E and W sides of SG too, without which you're right they'd be even more alike.

It started with a graphic of the IoW in the morning paper, and I just did a double-take  followed by a bit of a :o

The IoW is famous for it's Jurassic Coast, Cowes race week (ocean-going yachting), it's idiosyncratic gauge railway and it's allegedly rather in-bred population.

Perish the thought .... it never crossed my mind.

-- What with the Jurassic politics (cough), all SG needs is a yacht-week.
