Gut feeling is not good. Divorced, but any children? I don't think your income nor your educational level will be sufficient, but I've been surprised before. Good luck.

Can go either way. But i guess the norm now is few months wait.

My colleague(msian chinese) who start on her degree in NTU since 2008/9 and all the way till she completed her PhD had to wait for 8-9 months before he PR got approved(2-3 weeks ago).

She's married to a new citizen(indon chinese) who did his degree in SG as well.

Just my opinion , you should be a shoe-in as you are operating at a level that the locals apperently dont want to operate at. Thus you are filling a job that no local would want to do or you have title that no local person wants. :D

Your "CV" other than Divorce which may be a negative , is exactly the kind that I would expect the Govt to be approving. However I am not the Govt :D
Need your Advise...thanks so much

If your dog happens to be looking at you with a cocked head when you pray, please remember the god is nothing but an anagram of dog.

Surprise I guess. My feeling is that we're seeing the criteria you mention losing even more weight in favor of racial/ethnic criteria. (Judging by 'Malaysian' and OP's name)
