Any idea, how long normal processing time to get PR Application at the moment?

Both of us are Malaysians.... I am not sure of the processing time but mine (2nd application) took slightly more than 2 months to be approved, where my housemate took about 4.5 months (1st application) to get her approval.. So I guess it's really difficult to say how long it will take but one thing for sure is - PENDING is better than REJECTED. Just be patient and wait for the outcome.... Good luck!!

I just got my in-principal approval letter today...but I have tendered my resignation letter last week and now I'm serving 1 month notice... Joining my new company on 19th May....
Will this affect my application? My last day in the company will be on 14 May and I only managed to get the appointment on 28th May...

Congrats on ur PR approval. May i know how long have you waited for the pr application? And what nationality you are?

Regarding ur case, why u resigned while u r waiting for the outcome of pr?
I think it should not be problem, just try ur best to get earlier date of appointment, and if u cant make it. U need to get new company to fill up the form which is attached with the approval letter.

And applicants wonder why the employers don't like to fill out the Annex A for PR applicants. It's no wonder. I would have a good mind to fire any applicant who asked me to fill out an Annex A as I know that they will leave as soon as they get their PR (or in this case, even before). One can only hope ICA sees through their ruse.

Quick question

With respect to the PR formalities, can I bring my wife's documents and submit them on her behalf without her being present? She's presently working outside of Singapore and is in the process of looking for a job in Singapore.

Think I need to bring her passport, the approval letter, photos, medical report and EP 152 form

What about the IC application? Will she need to be present?

Doesn't matter, they are wise to the subcontinental ruses and ignore them in their decision making processes. Probably not the right blood type anyway.

7 months. Malaysian. I thought they are going to reject since I have been waited for more than 6 months..

Guys for those who have gone thru the formalities, how long do you typically stay at the ICA building waiting to be called?

Think my appointment is at 11.30 but I have flight out at 3pm, dont know if I will get stuck at Kallang

Also, can we go in earlier (by an hour or so) than the scheduled appointment time?

Please advise.

Hi all, appreciate if someone can clarify, i just got my PR approved and had appoint for the formalities next month...

FYI i applied my pr around May, and had my passport renewed around august (with new passport no), do i need to bring along the old passport with me during the appointment? any procedure for case of passport renewed like this?
