PR Application Pending for 8 Months

Post by jessicakoh24 » Wed, 12 Mar 2014 3:04 am

I am a Singaporean and my husband is a Filipino.
Both of us are currently working and had applied for my Husband PR in July 2013. We went to the MP and the MP wrote a letter for us and we received a Form for PR application which we went ahead.

Currently, we are still waiting for the PR application results. Is this waiting time normal? We have been waiting for about 8 months. We would need advise on what we should do or should we just wait aimlessly.

thank you

what do you mean wait aimlessly? life goes on.

keep working, try to get promoted or get a salary increment. plan for what happens if he doesn't get his PR.

read up on what improves your husband's chances of obtaining PR, so you know what to do if the rejection letter comes.
