Want to open boutique in Singapore

Can you please suggest me about opening a boutique in Singapore.
Need you suggestion on scope. Is it good business to start in Singapore?

like... a clothing boutique? are you bringing in some luxury brand(s) that are not already represented or...?

also, how much money do you have to invest in this?

Yes, thinking of a clothing boutique. Not brands, will design cloths on my own.

What do you estimate your sales will be, and profit margin?

A relative of mine owns a small clothing boutique, in a secondary, but appropriate location. IIRC he needs to sell $30/k of goods a month to break even.

Have you considered starting up with some form on online shop? It might be less risky than locking into a commercial lease, and only then finding that few people want your product.

Is it a good business? That is unanswerable. But how many of your friends and family wear your designs?

Would advise to look into other businesses as boutique line in singaporre is pretty tough.

Agree on the online part, no overhead cost etc, but in singapore every business is hard to survive.

Clothes also is not a easy business to work out.
