23 year old male new to Singapore would like to meet people

Hi,

I have just arrived in Singapore from Manchester, UK. I'm currently looking for a place more permanent than a hostel, but I am just posting on here to meet new people here.

I am working in Buona Vista for my PhD. I enjoy sports (mainly football), but like exploring/visiting wildlife parks and just relaxing with a few drinks in good company

Anyone knows when will Singapore allow foreigners? Understand it will only be transit in June.

And it will depend on where you are coming from. I wouldn't expect the borders to open to all countries initially.
